JUNO!!!

JUNO!!!

Juno happens to be a pretty cool movie. With smart ass comedy and real live events that teenagers go through all the time. Trust me when I say as a mom to be. Teens do go through this more than people know.

Juno MacGuff (Ellen Page) becomes in pregnant by her classmate Bleeker (Michael Cera). When Juno tried to find the "prefect" parents for her unborn child. With the help of her best friend Leah (Olivia Thirlby), they find a lovely couple Mark and Vanessa (Jason Bateman and Jennifer Garner).

What always happens the people are a little to perfect. Mark ends up leaving Vanessa. Juno has a break down. In the end Juno and Bleeker end up together and Vanessa gets the baby and Mark leaves Vanessa.

I would like to think alto of people can relate to Juno on the factor that more and more teens are having sex. There for becoming pregnant. So I understand how hard it must be to go through all that then have to give up your kid, of course I could never do that. This was her decision though, for some people it's better to give the child to someone who can take care of it.

Manga in the Family

Manga in the family!
Well my boyfriend and I went to go see my sick grandmother in the hospital one day. We talked to her and she's doing better but still sick. After the hospital we went to the mall, where my boyfriend bought a Manga drawing book called "Manga The Monster Book Of Manga." When we got home we both started to draw out of it and I have to say its one of the best How to Draw Books I've had. Even my boyfriend is just learning how to draw in different style's did really good. The Drawing on the left is one I did and in the book its called Geisha. Mine is just a pencil and colored pencil drawing but I still think it came out really good.
The book, "Manga The Monster Book Of Manga," is edited by Estudio Joso. So if you go looking for the book you now know who edited it. Its a pretty good size book, and has a pretty good price for just being a drawing book. Never the less its well worth the money! This Manga book even shows you how to color your art work on Photoshop.
So my opion on this book is to get it!

Little Bit of a Witch

Little bit of a Witch.
I've been reading the comic book DogWitch, that's how I got inspired to draw this lovely piece of art work you see here. I just bought issue number 8 and 10, and I wasn't disappointed at all. The artist, Daniel Schaffers who happens to be the writer too; is brilliant, pure genius.

The storyline of DogWitch has the main character Violet Grimm looking for the killer of her once very alive sister BlueBell. Since the vicious death of her sister, Violet has been on a none stop rampage of killing demons and clock stop blond bimbos. She finds out that a wannabe leather face is out to get her and happens to be the killer of her sister.

Since I really don't want to give away the whole series you are just going to have to read the rest for your self. Unfortunately you would have to look for the back issues because Schaffers has finished his mini-series.

My opinion, if your into the Gothic style artwork and comics DogWitch is the comic for you!

Joker is Back

The "Joker" is back!
Who would have thought that the movie industry would have brought back "The Joker." I'm not sure if this will be a good move for the "Batman" series or a bad move. Either way you want to look at it he's back!

Will the new more horror look be a good change for the Joker or not? Who knows.... I prefer the old look for him, from the first "Batman" movie. I'm pretty sure that the impact won't disappoint us.
Even though in the first movie it was Jack Nicholson that played the Joker the very first was Cesar Romero of the "Batman and Robin" series. I believe that Jack Nicholson will always be the Joker that everyone will remember!
Even the late Heath Ledger played in the new "Batman" movie as the Joker which is coming soon to theaters. Playing a more gruesome roll as the Joker and crazier than ever. This new film will for sure be a hit in the box office.
I can't wait till the movie is out anyways! I'm going to see it for sure!
The drawing of the Joker was done by yours truly and I was inspired by Jack Nicholson's portray of the Joker.
